Internship testimonials

Welcome to the internship page!

Over the past year, the Navez Project has had the privilege of welcoming many talented interns at KBR (Royal Library of Belgium). They’ve explored innovative ways to approach historical data, from transcribing and analyzing letters to applying digital tools like network and text analysis.

Their work has been invaluable in unlocking the rich collection of François-Joseph Navez’s 19th-century correspondence and bringing history to life!

Browse through the experiences (Dutch and English) of our alumni who have helped to ‘unlock’ the large corpus of Navez’s letters.

“This experience deepened my appreciation for how technology can preserve cultural heritage and underscored the importance of accessible, well-organized archives for future scholarship.”
